Funded Early Learning for
2-Year-Olds
This funding provides support for childcare sessions totalling 15 hours weekly, spanning 38 weeks annually, starting from the term following a child's second birthday. Eligibility is reserved for families receiving specific benefits and meeting the necessary criteria. It's important to note that this support isn't automatically granted to every two-year-old.
Funded Early Learning for 3 and 4-Year-Olds
Every 3 and 4-year-old currently receives 15 hours per week, totalling 570 hours annually, of complimentary early education. Additionally, if parents are residing and employed in England, their 3 and 4-year-olds might qualify for an extended 30 hours of cost-free childcare.
